On Easter Sunday, Pope Leo announced that he will lead a Prayer Vigil for Peace, inviting the faithful to join, on Saturday, April 11th in St. Peter's Basilica.
In convoking this time of prayer, the Pope exclaims: "We cannot continue to be indifferent! We cannot resign ourselves to evil!"
The pope stressed that the power with which Christ won his victory over death is "entirely nonviolent," based on a love which "creates and generates, forgives and redeems."
In the spirit of the Vicar of Christ, we have been offering prayers of peace at Our Lady of the Roses Shrine, "a center of atonement," for 56 years.
