St Michael's World Apostolate |
The Divine Mercy Vigil this Saturday and every Sunday Holy Hour for Pope and clergy henceforth will be specifically offered for the election of a good and holy Pope, until its conclusion. (If attendance is impossible, please unite in prayer wherever you are.)
These are the end-times and with an empty Seat of Peter, we are immediately thrust into a great crisis and in desperate need of a good and holy leader, a friend of Sacred Tradition, or we face the prospect of pure evil, "the antichrist pope of history."
As you see, this is no small matter. Even the reputable Cardinal Gerhard Muller, the former prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith has warned of a possible rupture or schism if an unorthodox pope is elected. Who ascends the Seat of Peter will determine the fate or shall we say state of the Church and the world.
If "a man of dark secrets and spirit" prevails, we will be plunged into a tumult and disaster, the likes of which we have never seen before. If you thought the last pontificate was disturbing or even heterodox, this one would be from hell (literally).
On the other hand, if a wise, courageous and faithful shepherd who understands the supernatural Mission of the Church and that Sacred Tradition is its life and blood (not a straitjacket), combined with a genuine love and compassion for all the People of God, rises to the Seat, then we can have some semblance of peace and order in the universe.
|
"I cannot at this time urge you enough, My children, to pray and pray again, that these prayers rising to the Eternal Father may reverberate throughout the world and into the hearts of those who will place upon the Seat of Peter a new pope." |
And surely, of the 135 Cardinal-electors from 70 countries, there must exist one that fits the bill and that the Holy Spirit can tap on the shoulder in that sea of red in the Sistine Chapel, and anoint as the next leader of the Roman Catholic Church and its 1.4 billion members.
And never underestimate the power of prayer and cries to the Lord. We have precedent. In 1978, after the death of Pope Paul VI, the Blessed Mother declared, "that the next one shall be he," that is, the antichrist pope. History records that the conspiring and fallen Giovanni Cardinal Benelli almost captured the Seat of Peter, coming up just short in the ballots, and out of nowhere an obscure cardinal from Poland emerged as the victor, the first non-Italian pope in 455 years. You might know him: Saint John Paul II.
|
The bottom line: constant prayer and petition from the faithful throughout the world, and especially on the holy grounds of Our Lady of the Roses Shrine, can work miracles!
Oremus. Let us pray.
And that we did on Easter Monday, offering the 3-hour Rosary Vigil for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis. We commended his soul to the infinite love and mercy of the Father and the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary to whom he had a tender devotion.
It is well-known by now of his attachment to St. Mary Major and the Virgin icon displayed there that he visited over 125 times in his pontificate. He chose this great Marian basilica to be his final resting place, right next to the icon.
We also recall his warm and smiling reception of the rose petal blessed by Jesus and Mary given to him by Michael "Looch" Lucci of Brooklyn, N.Y., in December of 2023, and trust that will bring favor from the Lord.
|
And, of course, we can’t forget the hundreds and hundreds of Sunday Holy Hours in the Home of Jesus and Mary that he benefited from during his pontificate, with the pilgrims often enduring harsh elements for the intention of his sanctity and Petrine Ministry.
Nevertheless, in all probability, Pope Francis is undergoing a purgation that few can escape and that we all must suffer as Our Lady explains that only a "very few come directly to Heaven" and that it is martyrdom that gains an "immediate entrance into Heaven."
As we storm Almighty God with pleas for a Good Pope, let us take to heart the consoling words of Jesus: "The Eternal Father is at the helm. He will guide you, My children, through turbulent seas. Trust and confidence in the Eternal Father."
