"And gloves must be worn in all pious processions in holy Church and out of holy Church. In pious processions of godly nature, you must wear mittens."

About 150 pilgrims were in attendance to
honor Veronica.
 
 

        Our Lady: "My child, what has happened to the processions in honor of your God and the memory of the suffering of My Son? We do not see any down upon earth. Can this not be restored for the glory of Heaven?"
        Veronica: Oh, Our Lady is referring to the lack of processionals and outward atonement to the Father.
