On March 20, 1971 Veronica discovered this drawing and writing, which had appeared "out of nowhere," as she described it—a supernatural manifestation. At first she thought it to be a representation of Moses holding the Ten Commandments, and she gave it the caption "Moses' Warning to the World." Later, however, a priest corrected her and said it was Saint Benedict. Interestingly, the drawing had arrived on the eve of his feast day.
Examining the picture, we see a halo of bright light surrounding the head of this holy Patriarch who is wearing a zucchetto, or "beanie." Saint Benedict is holding two tablets with a sword to his right. As we will discover, the lettering around the margin of the drawing is identical to that on the face of the Jubilee medal of Saint Benedict.
Our Lady has frequently urged all to wear the St. Benedict medal. It is not only a powerful protection against satan in these perilous times, but also an instrument of prophecy for our day. The medal has always contained a hidden meaning in the form of the symbols and initials of Latin words inscribed there, requiring an explanation to know their meaning. We now know through Veronica that the medal also has a second veiled or hidden meaning, placed there in God's all-knowing providence to be brought forth in these latter days when there is such chaos in holy Church.
ACTIVITY PRAYER
Veronica related in 1970: "Many times I asked Theresa and Our Lady why is everything so difficult at times? Why can't, like if there's a message to be had, why can't it be put down in straight talk, like this is this, and this and that? Why does it have to be so complicated, with hidden figures and parables?
"Well, Heaven feels that if they just outright come out and do things point blank like that, it doesn't give you a chance to think. And it's the thinking and the—what Theresa calls like 'activity prayer,' that develops the soul, and you learn more in the long run. You have a chance to contact more souls if you have to work a little in order to find anything out."
SECOND HIDDEN MEANING
So no doubt when Veronica discovered this latest manifestation from Heaven with those strange words framing the figure of the holy man, she knew it meant work and study, "activity prayer," to discern the full meaning. She consulted a Latin dictionary, believing the inscription might be in old Latin where each letter would represent a word, as on the back of the medal of Saint Benedict. Veronica explained: "See, one letter can mean a whole sentence. You know, in the old world Latin they used like I-N-R-I—this is 'Jesus, King of the Jews'. You wouldn't believe INRI means that."
She pondered and worked on this for quite a while, studying the Latin dictionary. The front of the dictionary contains a table which lists words that a single letter might stand for, and this was the source of many of the words she used. Finally, she arrived at an incredibly accurate interpretation of a previously unknown hidden meaning. Clearly, as a seer and prophet, she was guided from on high. Here are her original conclusions, exactly as she wrote them:
EI = It is urgent! I fear!
V = Man will let loose causes (bring down), 5
SIN = To set loose (to put down) Heavenly bodies (Siderum)
OBIYV(U)= On way, bring end, set loose, approaching be a planet struck, going down: OBIDUS (SIDERUM)
N = Numerous (many)
R = Rufus (root) Regnum (royalty, thrones, power) Recto (conduct) Romanus (Romans) Reficienduni (um) must restore Recte (proper conduct)
O = To heal, cure, do good
NRO = Many powers must heal, cure honorably, do good, restore proper conduct—as much as possible over the whole (earth)
PRAESENTIA = Now! At present!
M.....V.....N.....I.....A.....M.....V.....R (MVNIAMVR)
M = Official designation
N = Numerous (many)
I = I myself, See in time, hourly, year
A = Annus (year); Hell; Absolve—to loose
V(U) = Plea for prayer and atonement
M = Official designation
MV = Official wish (call) for prayers by
R = Regnum (royalty, throne, power) Romans Romanus;
Rufus (Root—plant) part which gives life
On October 2, 1971, Veronica had a vision of Saint Benedict holding the two tablets with the Ten Commandments, and then an attack on the Pope. The tablets represent not only the Ten Commandments, but the holy rule and sacred Tradition of the Church—in a word, discipline. In the sad wake of Vatican II all of this has been cast aside and replaced with the false maxims of modernism and humanism with all their rotten fruits.
On September 28, 1971, Jesus said: "Romans, turn back! Heal honorably. Do good in justice."
On December 25, 1971, Our Lady called on all governments, powers, provincials, and the "Senate of Rome," as She called it, to "turn back and mend their ways now, restore proper conduct while there is time." Thus She corroborated Veronica's interpretation of the words in the picture—the veiled, hidden meaning of the words on the face of the medal which was to be brought forth in our present time.
On July 1, 1973, Veronica saw Saint Benedict with a brilliant circle of light surrounding his head, just like in the drawing, giving a stern warning to the clergy: "You have not followed the rules set down by your God, or the teachings of the prophets of old. You will make a complete reversal of your ways of arrogance in the House of God. You must retire from a world that has been given to satan. You must divest yourself of all worldly desires for gain. You must live a life of sacrifice and simplicity. Only in this manner will you return to the road that leads to the Kingdom." Following this, Veronica saw in vision the comet streaking across the sky, trailing fire, rocks, and smoke behind it.
ST. BENEDICT'S WARNING
On August 14, 1981 Our Lady gave further affirmation of the hidden message when She repeated very concisely the warning of Saint Benedict, using many of the same words Veronica had figured out: "My child, you must hasten to have sent out the message of Saint Benedict: 'I have come to warn you. You will set loose upon earth the heavens. You will be planet struck! Doctors must do good and cure honorably. Kingdoms, bishops, Rome must restore my Son's Church, or there will be great destruction in the Eternal City.'"
Then She added: "Your Vicar is not safe. There will be another attempt on his life in the city of Rome."
THIRD SECRET
In addition, Veronica was told by Our Lady in a locution in the early seventies that a part of the second hidden meaning can be found in the phrase "cross of the holy father Benedict." This is spelled out in Latin on the front and represented on the back by the letters CSPB. The phrase refers to the saint's great veneration of the cross of Christ and the many miracles he worked through the sign of the cross. However, Our Lady disclosed that it also prophesies the Luciferian infiltration of the hierarchy in Rome in these latter days, which would result in great suffering (the cross) for the Pope (Holy Father).
This coincides startlingly with the July 13, 1917 prophecy of Fatima: "The Holy Father will have much to suffer," and LaSalette September 19, 1846: "Rome will lose the Faith and become the seat of the Antichrist." Indeed, we can see today the truth of this in the repeated attempts on the life of the Vicar of Christ, the indifference or outright disobedience of many of the clergy, even bishops and cardinals, to the Holy Father, and the confusion and division that characterizes the post-Conciliar Church.
Veronica left no clue in her writings as to the meaning of the mysterious figures in the lower left of the picture. In the light of several visions and messages given to her relating to Saint Benedict, the first figure could represent "C" for Chastisement. The line would represent a stick or rod, (discipline) in the form of a comet (small circle) coming towards the earth (large circle).
COMET APPROACHING
On February 10, 1973 Veronica described one such vision. It began with Saint Benedict holding a large book and saying: "The rule will be followed without change!" Pointing up to the sky, he added: "See what is planned by the Father for those who have hardened their hearts!" Then Veronica added: "There's a great darkness now covering the world. And now there is a large ball. It looks like a sun. But now it's very small in the distance. I see it approaching by years, by months, by days."
Saint Benedict gave his warning in a permanent, visible manner, so that even today one can actually study this drawing and ponder through "activity prayer."
It is Our Lady's urgent desire that Saint Benedict's solemn admonition be made known to all. It is, in reality, the key to the whole message of Bayside: There must be a restoration of the sacred rule (tablets) as exemplified by Saint Benedict (halo) who is using his stature and authority (zucchetto) to warn us that if we do not restore proper conduct NOW, we will set the holy wrath (sword) of God.
When the Jubilee medal was struck in 1880 by the sons of Saint Benedict, the Eternal Father buried within it a second hidden message to be unearthed for these end times. A hundred years later it was given to Veronica of the Cross, our beloved seer, to decipher, through the guidance of the Holy Ghost, this coded message. Religious and laity alike must respond praesentia!
THE SAINT BENEDICT MEDAL
Saint Benedict, the holy founder of the Benedictine order, was born in Italy in 480 A.D. He founded many monasteries, including the great Abbey of Monte Casino, and is considered the father of western monasticism. His holy Rule has been a model for religious communities down through the ages. Known for his great sanctity, he had a profound devotion to the holy cross, and to Jesus crucified. Saint Gregory the Great recorded many occasions when the holy Patriarch miraculously foiled the attacks of the evil one through the sign of the cross.
FIRST HIDDEN MEANING
The powerful Jubilee Medal of Saint Benedict, the most highly indulgenced sacramental in the Church, was struck in 1880 in commemoration of his birth 1400 years earlier. The face of the medal depicts the holy Abbot with the cross in one hand and the holy rule in the other. To his right is the poisoned cup which he shattered by making the sign of the cross. To his left is a raven about to carry away a poisoned loaf of bread which had been sent to end the life of the holy Patriarch. Above the cup and the raven is inscribed Crux S. Patris Benedicti (The Cross of the Holy Father Benedict). Around the margin are the words Eius In Obitu Nro Praesentia Muniamur (May his presence protect us in the hour of our death).
The reverse side contains a cross, with the initials of the words Crux Sancti Patris Benedicti (The Cross of the Holy Father Benedict) in the angles of the cross. On the vertical part of the cross are the initial letters of the words Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux (May the Holy Cross be my Light). On the horizontal bar are the initials of the words Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux (Let not the dragon be my guide). Around the edge are the initial letters of the words Vade Retro Satana! Nunquam Suade Mihi Vana. Sunt Mala Quae Libas; Ipse Venena Bibas. (Begone satan! Do not suggest to me thy vanities. Evil are the things thou profferest; drink thou thy own poison.) It is reported that Saint Benedict used such words as these for ejaculatory prayers.
Above the cross is the word Pax (Peace), the motto of the Benedictine order, to indicate a blessing the medal brings to the devout wearer. These symbols and initials of Latin words inscribed on the medal constitute a profound hidden meaning, little known to Catholics today, and are indicative of the unique power of this sacramental to protect against the snares and deceits of the devil so prevalent in these latter days. Our Lady confirmed this on October 6, 1977, when She urged everyone: "Keep the sacramental, given for these very days from Saint Benedict, upon you. I, My child, have always called him the fighter of demons." And oh June 6, 1987 She stated: "Satan must run at the sight of the St. Benedict medal."
How we should cherish this great gift from the Eternal Father and the illustrious Saint Benedict! Not only should we wear it constantly ourselves, we should urge family and friends to never be without this powerful medal.
