The Message of Our Lady and Our Lord to Veronica of the Cross

"There must be vigils kept on feast days at the Shrine"

June 20, 1970

At 1:35 p.m., Our Lady said to Veronica in locution:

Our Lady: “Many Rosaries must be said. There must be vigils kept on feast days at the Shrine, starting at 9 p.m. Candles will be carried at all vigils, to be lighted at the time of twelve to herald the new day of the feast. As candles are lighted, this invocation is to be said:

Mary, Light of the world, pray for us

Our Lady of the Roses, pray for us

Mary, Help of Mothers, pray for us."

[In a July 1970 recording, Veronica added the following comment:]

Veronica: I think at this point we should make it definite that the vigils start at 9 p.m, the eve before the feast day, and then go on to herald the new [feast] day at 12 midnight and on into the morning hours.
