  The Big St. Michael Weekend

Franciscan monk, Fr. George Roth, wearing the
St. Michael white beret while praying his Divine
Office during the Monday afternoon Vigil

  A Snapshot

On Saturday, September 30, over 200 devotees participated in the Procession and Vigil at the sacred grounds in honor of St. Michael, our glorious patron and guardian. It was a spiritually-enriching event with heart-felt prayers and love rising to Heaven along with long lines for confession.
It was like the faithful in unison with the Great Warrior, cried out: "Quis ut Deus" (Who is like unto God).

The following day after the Holy Hour, we held our special meeting in honor of St. Michael at the LaGuardia Marriott Hotel where 70 people gathered. Fr. George Roth, FI, a popular Franciscan preacher and lecturer who hosts a weekly program on Radio Immaculata, delivered his stirring talk: How I survived and thrived in 61 years as a Franciscan.
On Monday, we made history when we celebrated our first Rosary Vigil in the afternoon, with 55 pilgrims in attendance, in honor of the feasts of the Guardian Angels and the Little Flower, St. Theresa.

Throughout the pilgrimage, we also remembered our dear, long-suffering, and saintly brother, Luis Camacho, long-time Lay Order of St. Michael member and victim soul (see below).

The celebration weekend was truly a grace-filled occasion as we gave thanks to the angels and saints for their powerful presence and protection against the onslaught of antichrist. A photo report will follow soon.
Your gift (tax-deductible) to help cover the $6700 cost of the big St. Michael weekend is appreciated.
