In this beautiful mystical visage
of Our Lady of the Roses taken by Michael Mangan (SMWA President) at the
conclusion of yesterday's Sunday Holy Hour, it seems from Our Lady’s expression,
perhaps cracking a little smile, that She was very pleased with this kind act of
charity and sacrifice by Her children in the rain. |

Indeed, we send our love and prayers for a speedy recovery and that God’s peace and
consolation be with all of our suffering brothers and sisters in Southeast
Texas in this very difficult time.
We also included in our prayers and sacrifice the victims of the
devastating monsoons in Asia that have ravaged parts of Nepal, India, Bangladesh
and Pakistan, where some 43 million people have been affected. Millions have
been displaced and two-thirds of Bangladesh is under water. |
