The Veronica of the Cross Memorial Mass was celebrated here and Benediction followed.

Marisa Consoli (r.), choir leader and organist with the other singers: (front l. to r.) Hitomi and Teresa Valle of Kew Gardens, N.Y. and Mary Consoli; (back l. to r.) Francesca, Edie, the mother, and Monica Consoli of Yardley, Penn. The ladies did a great job.

(l. to r.) Joseph Valle of Kew Gardens, N.Y., Joseph Castricum of Budd Lake, N.J., and Peter Consoli of Yardley, Penn., served the Mass.

Fr. Robert Skurla, SMWA Chaplain, delivered the inspiring homily which highlighted the virtues of Veronica and her tremendous capacity to suffer with such grace, dignity and perseverance.

"Receive the Eucharist daily. I come to you; I am with you. It is My Body and My Blood. He who nourishes himself with It shall live forever."
